In celebration of Law Day, the Judicial Council/Administrative Office of the Courts, Georgia Council of Court Administrators, and the Georgia Department of Education sponsored the statewide annual coloring/poster contest.  The contest was open to all private, public, and homeschool students in Georgia. Mason’s submission was judged in the category of Coloring for Pre-K-2nd grade.  A panel of judges and attorneys determined the semi-finalists and the final decision was determined on April 27th at the Judicial Council meeting in Athens, GA.  Only three students’ artwork across the state were selected and each will receive a trophy from the Judicial Council Office of Courts.

Mason’s artwork depicts the three branches of government and the separation of powers. Mason will receive a trophy from the Judicial Council of Courts and a letter from a sitting Supreme Court Judge.
