One local student is hoping that her single can be an anthem for positive in times where the world faces a number of dire problems, and every day the number of views and listens continues to grow as people take on her message and share it around the globe.
Isabella Hartline is a 12-year-old at Cedartown Middle School student who has put out her first single “Love’s Still Here” online, available in such places as Apple, Amazon Music and YouTube.
She said the song is “about what is going on in the world with the coronavirus thing, and all the crazy things happening in the world” based on her view, and a positive message of hope centered around love.
The words were all Isabella, but she had some help with the background tracks for instruments to bring the song together to provide a “little more polish” on the single available for download for the world to enjoy per her mom.
Isabella spent three weeks ahead of the start of school putting the song together, and released it in early August. As of recent days, there were more than 3,100 views on Youtube, and thousands of listens on Amazon and Apple.
She said that her friends have so far been positive about the song, and that there’s more to come with a new song currently in the works.
