The City of Summerville has connected to Chattooga Well #7 to provide a section of our water distribution system that is not effected by the EPD PFOA/PFOS Water Advisory, by providing water from the City’s Lowe Spring Plant, and Chattooga Well #7.
Chattooga County Water District has notified the City of Summerville that corrective measures have been taken for Chattooga County Well #7 and the previous boil water advisory was lifted by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD).
The City of Summerville intends to supply water from Chattooga County until the EPD PFOA/PFOS Water Advisory has been resolved.
