Traci Johnson and her daughter Tori were in a car accident heading to her son’s basketball game on December 22nd, 2015. Traci had just gotten off work and met her daughter when the accident occurred in Menlo, Ga.
Traci’s car hit a tree, the driver-side door took the impact. Traci was trapped inside the car and it took over an hour for emergency workers to cut her out.
From the result of the accident Traci suffered extensive injuries to her face. Her daughter Tori was uninjured. Traci was taken to a hospital in Rome when after running some tests they realized her injuries would require a Facial Reconstructive Team and that type of surgery wasn’t offered in Rome. She was transferred to Atlanta Medical Center in the early hours on December 23rd. The reconstructive surgery lasted for more than 10 hours.
Traci has a long recovery road ahead of her. She is the mother of 2 children, Tori Johnson and Clayton Johnson. Traci will be out of work for a long period of time while recovering.
