Floyd County Schools (FCS) will offer an online learning choice for high school students for the 2021-2022 school year through Floyd Virtual Academy (FVA). Students are not automatically enrolled in FVA from year-to-year. This includes students currently enrolled in the OASIS program.
All FCS PreK-7th grade students will return to in-person learning. If you have a rising 8th-12th grade student, who is interested in online learning, you may fill out an application to be considered for FVA by visiting www.FloydBOE.net. All applications will be evaluated for approval based on a variety of factors including grades, attendance, student motivation criteria, and a teacher recommendation.
The application window will close on Friday, April 23rd. Families will be notified by early May if they were accepted into FVA or if they will need to return to in-person learning for 2021-2022.
