Emma-Rae Ward Serving as FCCLA Region 1 Officer

Miss Emma-Rae Ward was elected as a Region One Officer for Chattooga FCCLA for the 2021-2022 school year.

FCCLA is a national Career and Technical Student Organization(CTSO) for students in family and consumer sciences education in public and private schools.

There are only two region officers for Region One. Emma-Rae, Chattooga High School, and Alyssa Estes, Trion High School, were the two elected to fulfill duties as region officers.

The goal as region officers is to work with regions to better meet guidelines from the state. In doing this, it helps make things more cohesive between regions, states, and nationals.

Emma-Rae is the first student in Chattooga history to become a Region Officer. Prior to the beginning of school, Emma-Rae attended training in Covington, GA. While there,  she learned requirements as an officer, leadership skills, and working with others.
