Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office seeking help in Fatal Hit and Run Involving Pedestrian

The Chattooga County Sheriffs Office and the Georgia State Patrol are currently investigating a fatal hit and run involving a pedestrian which happened Sunday night on Hwy 48 in the area of East Peach Orchard Road.

Mark Snay, age 55, of the Ft. Payne Alabama area was struck as he walked along Hwy 48 east bound on Sunday night.

Investigators are looking for a 2007-2009 mid size Ford or Lincoln SUV.
