Ashley Edwards: United States Marine

Chattooga High School alumna Ashley Edwards recently graduated from the United States Marine Corps Boot Camp. Edwards enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in March 2018. She was stationed at Parris Island for the 13-week boot camp and graduated as a Marine on July 20, 2018.

Edwards received the Rifle Expert award of Excellence and a Lay Reader certificate. She was granted a ten day leave after boot camp. Edwards will attend Military Combat Training (MCT) at Camp Geiger in North Carolina. After graduation from MCT she will attend her Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) training. Edwards will be training in Motor Transportation.

Edwards attended Menlo School and graduated Chattooga High School in 2017.
