In the Chattooga County Coroner’s race, Jeremy “Big Mac” McElhaney received the highest votes but did not surpass the 50% threshold to avoid a runoff election. McElhaney received 49.42% of the vote with 1820 votes.

The runner-up, Savanna McGill, received 1177 votes, with Carrie Blackwell and Heath Hammond coming in third and fourth, respectively.
McElhaney and McGill will compete in the runoff election on June 18th.
