Summerville’s Celebrate Independence Festival & Fireworks Show Is Set For June 30

The City of Summerville is proud to announce that the 2023 Celebrate Independence Festival & Fireworks Show will be held on Friday, June 30. The festival and fireworks show has been a long time family affair and one of the best fireworks shows in northwest Georgia! This free community event will be held at the Chattooga County Agricultural Center, located at 33 Middle School Rd. Music, food, fun and festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. and conclude following the fireworks show at 10:00 p.m. Traditional favorites, such as waterslides, sack races, free watermelon slices, the corn hole tournament, and concerts will also be returning. New this year, activities for the entire family and a “Kid’s Zone.” This year’s concert will feature local favorite Chip Rowland as the opening act for the APB 1stGeneration Band.
