SEGA Weekly Traffic Interruption Advisory – Ending 5/15/20

There’s a long list of road projects across Southeast Georgia this week –>

Georgia DOT continues essential road work throughout Southeast Georgia. As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue Saturday, May 9 through Friday, May 15.

All work subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers

Lane closures are listed below by interstate and counties.

Interstate 95
Exit 6 interchange project in Camden County
Single Lane Closures (LC) Milepost (MP) 5 to 7
7am to 7pm Wednesday – Friday

Exit 3 interchange bridges and Satilla River Bridges north of Exit 14

Road closure for three bridges to be replaced
anticipated open to traffic spring/summer 2020

  • I-16 westbound (MP 158) to I-95 southbound ramp (MP 99)
  • I-95 northbound (MP 99) to I-16 eastbound ramp (MP 158)
  • I-95 northbound (MP 99) to I-16 westbound ramp (MP 157)
  • I-95 southbound (MP 99) to I-16 eastbound ramp (MP 158)

Intermittent right and left lane closures at the following locations:

  • 1-16 eastbound from I-95 (MP 157) to (MP 159)
  • 1-16 westbound from (MP 159) to I-95 (MP 157)
