SE Ga Road Work: Weekly Traffic Interruption Advisory Through December 1

Georgia Department of Transportation continues essential road work throughout Southeast Georgia.  As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue Saturday, November 18 through Friday, December 1.

Thanksgiving Holiday work restrictions will be in place beginning 5 a.m., Wednesday, November 22 until 10 p.m., Sunday, November 26. No lane closures or work that restricts or interferes with traffic on major State highways and interstates will be conducted during this time frame. This does not include incident management or emergency maintenance-related lane closures that could become necessary at any time.

All work subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.
