GDOT: 06/28-07/01 Lane Closure Advisory for the I-16 at I-95 Improvement Projects

GDOT Weekly Update

Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation construction partners will close interstate lanes on I-16 eastbound and westbound between the I-16/I-95 Interchange and Chatham Parkway. The closures are necessary for tree removal on I-16, widening activities for I-16, and work on the new I-16/  I-95 Interchange bridges.

Holiday work restrictions will be in place beginning Friday, July 2, 2021, at 12 p.m. until Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at 10 p.m. No lane closures or work that restricts or interferes with traffic will be conducted during this time frame.
