Fugitive wanted in Rincon for a list of charges is found in Statesboro

On May 11, Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team(CST) assisted the US Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in searching for a man wanted in Rincon. The Marshals had received information that the man, 26 year-old Markius Curtis, might be located in the Barn Mobile Home Park in Statesboro.

Curtis was wanted by Rincon Police Department for Aggravated Assault, Arson, Armed Robbery, Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder, False Imprisonment, Criminal Damage to Property, Aggravated Battery, Cruelty to Animals, and Parole Violation.

Marshals and CST members surrounded the residence and arrested Curtis without incident.  He was later picked up by the Rincon Police Department at the Bulloch County Jail.
