Adoptable Pet of the Week: Gidget

Meet Gidget!

Gidget is 7 months old and recently completed the Fostering Freedom Program where she learned basic commands and socialization skills. She is up-to-date on all vaccinations, including rabies, and has been spayed. This smart girl is well-mannered, crate trained, and potty trained. She loves toys, zoomies, snuggles, and meeting new people. She has been waiting for a family of her own for 103 days as of today.

Gidget is available for adoption at the Bulloch County Animal Shelter. If you are interested in meeting her in person, contact the shelter at 912-764-4529 to make an appointment! Reminder: As part of a safety policy, visitors are required to wear closed toe shoes.

The Fostering Freedom Program is a canine/inmate training program for second chances. Dogs from Bulloch County Animal Services are trained by inmates of the Bulloch County Correctional Institute so that they may become more adoptable pets. Visit them on Facebook here.

Meet Gidget and other adoptable dogs and cats at the Waves of Hope: Clear the Shelter adoption event on Saturday, July 12, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. See more info here.
