Statesboro SWAT Team raising money for Relay for Life

Statesboro’s tactical team, made up of Jared Shababy, Sneed Collins, Louis Parker, Matthew Mallard, Jeremy Glisson, Travis Kreun, and Thomas McKeithen,  is asking the community to join them in raising money for Bulloch County’s ‘Relay for Life.’ Overseen by Chief Rob Bryan, the team is responsible for meeting Statesboro’s – and much of the region’s- SWAT-team related needs. A complete profile of the team and its members is available here.

This is the third year the team has participated in Relay for Life, a family-friendly overnight fundraising event that takes place around the nation in an effort to raise money for cancer awareness and cancer treatment. The event emphasizes teamwork while remembering those who lost their battle with cancer and celebrating the survivors.

The team has set a goal of $1,000 for the April 29th event.
