Portion of South Zetterower Ave Closed Beginning February 5th Due to Work on Railroad

UPDATE 2/8/2022: This portion of South Zetterower Avenue is expected to be closed through Thursday, February 10.

Thru traffic on South Zetterower Avenue in Statesboro will be impacted beginning Saturday, February 5 due to work on the railroad. See the map below for recommended detour routes.

From City of Statesboro:

A portion of South Zetterower Avenue from Brannen Street to Fair Road will be closed to thru traffic starting February 5th and lasting through February 8th. A City of Statesboro contractor is scheduled to perform work on the railroad grade crossing on South Zetterower Ave. at Stillwell Street.

This work is part of the S Zetterower Ave. and Stillwell St. intersection improvement project. Businesses and their patrons will still have access to entrances on South Zetterower Ave. during this time but all other drivers should avoid the area. We thank you for your patience as we work to improve this intersection.
