Indian Center, Built Ford Tough

Armand “Money” Ford #56 will be the anchor for Chattooga’s offensive line as he enters into his senior season as the starting center. Ford is a versatile player and will see playing time on defense at nose guard.  Ford has been selected twice for all region and all area teams. Last year Ford was the pulling guard and was in the top two players on the team with the most pancake blocks per game.

Ford stands 5’10” and weighs 270 lbs. His max squat is 545 lbs, max bench is 270 lbs and he runs the 40 yard dash in 4.99.

Ford spent much of the summer at various camps including the University of Alabama, Sewanee and the NUC Combine. Ford’s strength, determination and skills earned him the best offensive lineman award at Alabama’s camp. At the NUC combine Ford managed a 21.5” vertical leap in spite of his 270 frame and also won the offensive line MVP.

Ford is a great example of a student athlete maintaining a 3.67 GPA and is a member of the JGG Club (jobs for Georgia Graduates).

“Armand is a senior leader who loves the game of football. He has moved to the center position on offense to anchor our line and make all our calls,” says Chattooga Head Coach Charles Hammon.
