Chattooga County 2024 Audit

Chattooga County has officially released its 2024 financial audit, providing a detailed look at the county’s finances, revenues, expenditures, assets, and liabilities for the year ending December 31, 2024. The audit, completed by independent auditor Chrysan Thomas, was issued on May 15, 2026, and includes financial statements for county government operations, special revenue funds, capital projects, and the county’s water system. The release of the audit comes after months of work to complete the county’s financial reporting requirements and maintain eligibility for various state and federal funding opportunities.
