Chattooga High School Skills Team competitors Lane Bridges, Zayden Cook, Mason Majors and Pedro Lopez won first place in the state skills competition on the week of February 22nd.
From Thursday through Saturday these boys built a small shed. While building this shed they used their carpentry, masonry, plumbing and wiring skills.
Each team member specializes in one of these areas and they work together to build their finished product.
Due to their state level win, they will be advancing to the national competition in June of this year.
There they will compete against the best of the best in the US. This team has worked hard all year by refining their techniques and learning different building styles to earn this state championship title.
Congratulations and we can’t wait to see your success!
