The High Five Teacher of the Year program invites viewers to nominate deserving high school teachers and share what makes these teachers exceptional. Five finalists are then selected by Fox 5’s Good Day producers to be recognized and featured in a special segment on Good Day Atlanta. Each of the five finalists have received a special plaque and $500 from Montlick & Associates.

Chattooga County High School’s Robert Robinson went from the Marines to the police force to teaching students about criminal justice. He says his goal as a teacher is to ‘save a world’ by making a difference in the lives of his students.

The Fox 5 crew traveled to Summerville, Ga to interview Chief in his classroom at Chattooga High School. You can watch the interview here: https://www.fox5atlanta.com/video/1053993

The cool thing about this contest is the public votes to determine which teacher is the grand prize winner. Montlick & Associates will donate $2,500 to the winning teacher’s school.

The Finalist with the highest number of votes during the Voting Period will be the High 5 Teacher. In the event of a tie, there will be a “vote-off” for the Finalists with a tied number of votes. The vote off, if necessary, will commence at 12:00 p.m. on April 25, 2022 and end at 12:00pm on April 29, 2022 (the “Vote-Off Voting Period”).
