Teloga Volunteer Fire Department Releases Statement on Passing of Rhyan Keith

On April 16, 2021 Teloga Volunteer Fire Department released the following statement on Facebook regarding the passing of Rhyan Keith.

“It is with great sadness that the Teloga Volunteer Fire Department mourns the loss of Firefighter Rhyan Keith. Rhyan was an outstanding firefighter, paramedic, mentor, and friend to the community. Rhyan joined Teloga VFD in 2005. He continued to grow in excellence during his career, completing training as Firefighter1, Firefighter2, Hazmat, Fire Instructor, Georgia F.L.A.M.E.S #59, various fire, rescue, extrication courses, and was certified as a Paramedic. Throughout his years of service, Rhyan served with Teloga VFD, Summerville FD, Gordon County Fire, and as Captain of Redmond EMS. The number of lives he helped to save and lives he has touched with his expert patient care cannot be numbered. Our station, community, and Chattooga County mourn this loss. We pray for his family and children during this time. We will deeply miss our brother and friend. Rest in peace 1108, Rhyan Keith your watch has ended.
