After a breakout junior season, Perry found himself on several NFL teams’ radar and, in spite of battling an injury and stiff competition at running back on his own team, Senorise was invited to camp by the Chicago Bears after graduating from Louisville. Perry’s camp performance was stellar and when the preseason came along, Senorise’s play on the field was as bright as his smile on the sideline. He won the coaches over and became one of the exceptionally few undrafted rookies to make it to the final roster on an NFL team.

Perry suffered a season ending injury that left him placed on the Inured Reserve list for his second season. All On Georgia’s Casie Bryant caught up with Perry at a hometown basketball game and asked a few questions about the injury, the NFL and how the Chattooga Indians boys basketball team was doing.

Senorise believes that this team has special chemistry and enough talent to make it all the way to the state championship. As for the leg, he feels 100% and is only waiting a final report from team doctors clearing him for full contact at spring training. At the end of the month, if there are any lingering issues, Senorise will relocate back to Chicago where he will work full time with Bears’ trainers and doctors to overcome any remaining hurdles.
Senorise believes that 2016 will be a big year for him and that this spring camp will be another chance to impress the coaching staff and work his way back into the starting line up.

Meanwhile, while he is back home in Summerville, Ga. Senorise is enjoying a bit of the star treatment. After having his name announced in recognition at the basketball game, Perry was gracious enough to take time for his legions of fans, signing autographs and posing for pictures. Suddenly there are quite a few Chicago Bears fans in the northwest Georgia town of Summerville.
