Rome, Darlington down, others stay put in GHSA reclassification

The Georgia High School Association athletics reclassification is out, and all but two schools inside of Floyd County stays put for next year.

The Rome Wolves move down to the class AAAAA level for 2016, and will play in region 7AAAAA along with Carrollton, Cass, East Paulding, Hiram, Kell, Paulding County, Villa Rica, and Woodland.

Armuchee, Coosa, Model, and Pepperell all stay put at the class AA level, playing in region 7AA with Chattooga, Dade County, Gordon Central, and Rockmart.

Darlington and School for the Deaf will be at the class A level, and will compete in region 6, sub-region A against Bowdon, Christian Heritage, Gordon Lee, Mt. Zion, North Cobb Christian, Trion, Excel Christian, and Morris Innovative.  Darlington is down from the class AA level.
