Chattooga Lady Indians Claims Victory Over Rome Lady Wolves in Blow-Out Fashion, 17-1.

Chattooga Lady Indians Varsity had no trouble on offense today, winning big over Rome Lady Wolves 17-1

Chattooga Lady Indians Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning, when Gracelyn Veitch doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Chattooga Lady Indians Varsity tallied seven runs in the fifth inning. Chattooga Lady Indians Varsity’s big inning was driven by an error on a ball put in play by Emma White, Katie Williams, and Emma Howard, a walk by Hannah Thrasher, and a single by Clara Wyatt.

Thrasher earned the win for Chattooga Lady Indians Varsity. She went five innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out seven and walking one.

#31 took the loss for Rome Lady Wolves. She surrendered 16 runs on ten hits over four innings, striking out one.

Chattooga Chattooga Lady Indians Varsity racked up 11 hits on the day. White, Veitch, Ramsey Elrod, and Wyatt each collected multiple hits for  Chattooga Lady Indians Varsity. Wyatt, Elrod, Veitch, and Whiteeach managed two hits to lead  Chattooga Lady Indians Varsity.
