Senator David Perdue Announces 2019 Service Academy Appointments

U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA), a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee,  announced on Monday the appointments of 24 Georgia students nominated by his office to the United States Service Academies for the Class of 2023.

“Each of these students has set a positive example for their communities and demonstrated the moral and ethical values it takes to succeed in our Armed Services,” said Senator Perdue. “Their decision to attend one of our five service academies is a testament to their willingness to solve complex problems, deal with adversity, and serve our country. I have no doubt they will rise to meet the challenges of our time. Congratulations to these young leaders, as well as their families and mentors. We wish them the best of luck as they prepare to represent Georgia and our great nation.”
