Turner resigns

Chattooga County Board of Education Member John Turner submitted a letter of resignation to Probate Judge Jon Payne on Monday, April 8.

Turner’s seat according to Payne will be filled by appointment by the Board of Education.

Turner, a former teacher had served on the Board for six years.
