Details for Joint Senate and House Redistricting Hearings in Brunswick, Albany, Columbus and Macon

Sen. John F. Kennedy (R – Macon), Chair of the Senate Committee on Reapportionment and Redistricting, and Rep. Bonnie Rich (R – Suwannee), Chair of the House Legislative and Congressional Reapportionment Committee, have announced the locations for the upcoming Joint Senate and House Redistricting hearings to be held in Brunswick, Albany, Columbus and Macon.

Brunswick
When: Monday, July 26, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Where: College of Coastal Georgia – Southeast Georgia Conference Center

Albany
When: Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Columbus
When: Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Where: Columbus State University – Cunningham Center

When: Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Where: Mercer School of Medicine – Auditorium

The committees will also plan to hold a virtual hearing on Friday, July 30. Further details on this hearing, as well as additional information on a rescheduled hearing in Augusta, will be announced at a later date.
