Georgia-Lensed “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” Tops Box Office During Worldwide Premiere

According to the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Georgia-lensed “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” topped the box office during its worldwide premiere last weekend, shining a spotlight on the State of Georgia as a force in the entertainment industry.

Georgia has played a vital role in the “Guardians” trilogy filming since the beginning, creating opportunities for Georgia’s entertainment industry and for the communities and businesses large and small that support it. “Guardians 3” wrapped production in Georgia in July 2022. Most of the filming took place at Trilith Studios, with other locations including the Senoia Raceway, Atlanta’s Believe Music Hall, and private residences in Roswell and Hampton.
