[03/25/20 – 7PM] COVID-19 Cases in Georgia: 1,387 Confirmed, 438 Hospitalized, 47 Deaths

These numbers include confirmed cases, number of people hospitalized across the state, and number of deaths.

Information as of 7:00 P.M. – March 25, 2020

These data represent confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported to the Georgia Department of Public Health as of 7:00pm 03/25/2020. A confirmed case is defined as a person who has tested positive for 2019 novel coronavirus.


Today’s significant increase in cases is in part reflective of improvement in electronic reporting efficiency from commercial laboratories. These reports often have sparse patient data and DPH will be working to complete these records, so data will change over time.
