Ty Veatch is a 13-year old 8th grader, defending State Champion at Trion Middle School who has dominated this season on the wrestling mat so far going 27-0 with 25 pins.
Along with wrestling for Trion Middle School, Ty has wrestled for the last four years with Coach Matt Pitts in the USA wrestling division with the Grindhouse. “Ty doesn’t say much but he is a leader by example to the rest of our club. He’s a hard worker who goes out and earns all the accolades he deserves. I’m proud and blessed to get to coach Ty. His parents have done a great job,” said Pitts.
Veatch has also been named an All American with Team Georgia and went undefeated at the Heartland Duals in Nebraska in the spring.
Ty is the son of Kelli and Casey Veatch.
