Defensively, Maddux made his presence known with 201 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and 8 interceptions. His all-around skill set made him a force on both sides of the ball.
After high school, Maddux originally committed to Reinhardt University, but the fit wasn’t right.
Now, he’s ready to make an impact at Shorter and take the next step in his football journey. Maddux has been on campus at Shorter for the last three weeks and is attending workouts with the football team. Maddux plans to major in Business.
“I’m proud to be continuing my academic and athletic career at Shorter University,” Maddux said. “Shorter already feels like home. All glory goes to God!”
