Logan Stokes, 6’4″ 235lb., a standout player for Trion High School’s football team, has continued to impress fans and coaches with his remarkable performance over the last few seasons. Stokes’ has been invited to participate in the BSN Georgia Athletic Coaches Association’s (GACA) annual football showcase, the North Vs South All-Star Classic, on Dec. 29th in Brunswick, GA.
This exclusive event brings together the most talented high school football players from across the state.
Stokes, recognized for his outstanding performance on the field, has earned a spot in this elite lineup as an upcoming senior. His talent on the gridiron has contributed significantly to Trion’s football program and garnered statewide attention, leading to this coveted invitation to showcase his skills among the best players in Georgia.
The GACA’s annual showcase serves as a platform to highlight the top talent in high school football, providing a stage for these athletes to display their abilities and attract attention from college recruiters.
Trion Head Coach Sean Patrick expressed his pride in Stokes, emphasizing his deserving nature for the recent accolades and opportunities. “I’m so proud of Logan. He is very deserving of this opportunity to play in the GACA game. He will have the chance to compete against some of the best players in this state,” said Coach Patrick.
As a Tight End, Stokes’ stats speak volumes about his impact on the field. Throughout this season, Stokes showcased his versatility and skill set, tallying impressive numbers: 27 receptions for 409 receiving yards at an average of 15.2 yards per catch, accompanied by six receiving touchdowns.
But he isn’t limited to offensive play, as evidenced by his defensive contributions, boasting 53 tackles, six sacks, nine tackles for loss, and a fumble recovery.
Stokes’ achievements extend beyond individual stats. His exceptional performance has earned him recognition, including being selected for the All-Region First Team as a Tight End for two consecutive years. He’s also been a consistent force, leading the region in sacks and earning several accolades, such as the Summerville News Player of the Week several times, the HOG award, and the AllOnGeorgia Player of the Week title.
