During the All-Region voting, the unbeaten 10-0 season of Trion Football, securing the Region Championship, garnered significant attention. Coach Sean Patrick’s outstanding leadership secured him the Region Coach of the Year honor. Adding to the accolades, Toby Maddux received recognition as Player of the Year, while quarterback Kade Smith was named Offensive Player of the Year.
“I feel incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by such amazing individuals. Our players have been outstanding, fully embracing our program’s vision,” Patrick shared. “The dedication of my coaching staff is remarkable—they’re all selfless, working tirelessly to set our players up for success. The support from our administration has been incredible, allowing us to implement the necessary strategies for success. The collective effort has been key to our achievements.”
Coach Patrick’s impact on Trion’s success is evident. Over the last four seasons, he’s maintained an impressive 33-13 record, boasting an outstanding 30-6 in the last three years. His leadership, combined with the unified efforts of the entire team, has been integral to Trion Football’s success.
