Sanchez throws seven strong in Rome’s 3-1 win over Lexington

Rome’s Ricardo Sanchez picked up his fourth win of the season in Rome’s 3-1 win over Lexington Friday night on the road.

Sanchez went seven strong innings, giving up only one run on one hit – a first inning solo homer – striking out eleven batters, and only walking one.

Lucas Herbert drove in two of the Braves’ three runs, picking up his third home run on the season.  Justin Ellison drove in the other run for Rome.
