Thomas went 3-for-3 past the arc and 8-of-10 from the floor against the Falcons as well. Thomas also combined for 29 points in the other two games this week. First, he scored 13 in the one-point victory over the Columbus State University Cougars. He also had six rebounds in that Monday night game. Saturday, Thomas helped the Bobcats secure their 14th win of the season with 16 points and nine rebounds. He lit up the scoreboard in the second half, adding 14 points in the second half alone. He also was nearly perfect from the foul line, missing only one of 11 shots.

Over the summer Isaac and his father, Lanny Thomas, have hosted basketball camps in Trion as a way of giving back to the community that had supported him over the course of his career.

Lanny Thomas has coached basketball for 20 years. Fourteen years as head coach at Trion, three as head coach at Lafayette and he was assistant coach at Chattooga for three years. Thomas is a member of the Elite 200 win club as a coach.

LThe dynamic father and son basketball duo worked together and taught skills and knowledge of the game during the summer at their basketball camps. “It went wonderfully! Isaac enjoyed working with the students as much as they enjoyed learning from him. I have had some parents tell me Isaac has a favorite fan now in their child,” commented Coach Thomas.
