Progress is moving quickly on Chattooga’s new softball field. This week Superintendent Jimmy Lenderman, Assistant Superintendent Jared Hosmer, and Supervisor of Maintainence John Worsham stopped by to look over the field.
Workers this week tied in the sprinkler and water lines to the county main pipes. The football practice field is getting its final leveling makeover before the seeding process will begin. The parking lot is also taking shape as the drainage edge concrete has been poured around the parking.
Superintendent Jimmy Lenderman commented, “Our children deserve to have great facilities and the new athletic complex will be second to none. I thank the people of Chattooga County for giving the one penny sales tax that allows the Chattooga County and Trion City School Systems to give our kids so many long needed facilities.”
