Chattooga Basketball Honored at 40th Annual Northwest Georgia Tip-Off Club Banquet

Several standout players from Chattooga High School were recognized Monday night at the 40th Annual Basketball Banquet hosted by the Northwest Georgia Tip-Off Club at the Forum River Center.

Several standout players from Chattooga High School were recognized Monday night at the 40th Annual Basketball Banquet hosted by the Northwest Georgia Tip-Off Club at the Forum River Center.

The annual event celebrates top basketball talent from across Northwest Georgia, highlighting players who have demonstrated excellence, leadership, and consistency throughout the season.

Chattooga Girls Recognitions

The Lady Indians earned multiple honors:

  • December Player of the Month: Gracelyn Rutledge

  • January Player of the Month: Daysa Martin (not pictured)

  • Player of the Year: Addie Veatch

Each athlete played a significant role in the team’s success this season. Veatch’s Player of the Year recognition caps a strong year marked by leadership, consistency, and impact in key moments.

Chattooga Boys Recognitions

The Indians were also well represented:

  • December Player of the Month: DJ Etchison (not pictured)

  • January Player of the Month: Tra Lester

  • Player of the Year: Koi Dodd

Their contributions throughout the season helped set the tone for the program and earned recognition among the area’s best. Dodd’s Player of the Year honor reflects a standout season in which he consistently delivered for the Indians, setting the standard with his performance, leadership, and ability to rise to the moment when it mattered most.

As the Tip-Off Club celebrates 40 years of honoring student-athletes, Chattooga basketball continues to be well represented among Northwest Georgia’s top performers.
