Villeda Concrete

On Friday, May 9, Trion’s Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer Teams took on Lake Oconee Academy in the GHSA Final Four in the state playoffs. Although the Bulldogs did not emerge victorious, they played a challenging game and had an incredible season!

The night at Sam R. McCain Stadium kicked off with the girls’ team at 5:30 p.m. The game ended with a score of 0-1. It was back-and-forth, and the Lady Dogs played a fantastic game, with many assists.

At 7:30 p.m., the boys kicked off and fought to the end, but came up short with a final score of 1-5. Ultimately, both of Trion’s Soccer Teams battled hard throughout the season, each sweeping the region, with a 5-0 record.

The senior group is truly one to remember and was a testament to Bulldog Athletics. THS is sad to see them graduate.

The girls’ seniors include: Mollie Edge, Juana Ramirez, Brystal Bowman, Emily Holcombe, Avrie Moss, Gabi Helwig, Ansley Smith, and Kaylie Dupree.

The boys’ seniors include: Andy Ramirez, Jon Mendez, Bronswill Chavez-Gomez, and Austin Cornett.

Way to go, Bulldogs, on your outstanding season!
