The Summerville 8U All-Star softball team has done it again—claiming the state championship for the second year in a row in jaw-dropping fashion.
With four commanding victories and a combined score of 86-6, this group of girls proved they’re not just talented—they’re building a dynasty.
“Not to brag, but nobody was even close to beating us during the state tournament,” said Head Coach Brandon Stewart. “We run-ruled everybody. These girls can flat out HIT THE BALL.”
And the scores tell the story:
-
Beat Carroll County 22-1
-
Beat Camden County 24-5
-
Beat Whitfield County 14-5
-
Shut out Bartow County in the championship game 26-0
Even more impressive, seven of the girls on this year’s championship team were part of last year’s 8U state title team. Four of the original players aged out and moved up, but this reloaded roster didn’t miss a beat—making them repeat champions and a force to be reckoned with.
