Later tonight, May 22, 2026, Trion High School’s class of 2026 will cross the stage at 8 pm. Due to the recent weather forecasts, the graduation location has been moved from Sam R. McCain Stadium to the Trion High School gymnasium on Trion City Schools’ campus. Doors will open at 6:30 pm, and seats will be available on a first come first serve basis; tickets will not be needed upon arrival.
In total, Trion will graduate 98 students; these graduates are led by Trion’s valedictorian, Sarah McCauley, and the salutatorian, Jocelyn Mitchell. During the occasion, McCauley will give the Pledge of allegiance. Following the pledge, the honors graduate speakers, William Groce, Jocelyn Mitchell, and Abbigale Stephens, will give their speeches. Lastly, each graduate will walk the stage and receive his/her diploma.
McCauley is extremely honored to be graduating at the top of her class and to be able to represent the Trion Bulldogs, she stated, “ Being named valedictorian is both humbling and rewarding. It represents years of hard work, support from others, and a commitment to making the most of every opportunity.”
Congratulations, class of 2026! Today is a milestone that represents years of hard work and showing up when it was necessary. Go do incredible things!
