Kindergarten Registration Opens April 15 in Chattooga County

Chattooga County Schools will begin kindergarten registration for the 2026–2027 school year on April 15, with options to enroll both online and in person.

Registration can be completed online through the school system’s website or by visiting the Chattooga Enrollment Center, located at 286 Maple Drive in Summerville (GPS address: 302 Maple Drive). The center will be open Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

To be eligible, children must be 5 years old by September 1.

Parents and guardians will need to provide the following documents:

• Birth certificate
• Social Security card
• Immunization record (Form 3231)
• Eye, ear, and dental screening (Form 3300)
• Proof of residency (utility bill or lease agreement)
• Driver’s license or photo ID of parent/guardian

Families enrolling online should visit the Chattooga County Schools website and click on the Enrollment Center tab, then select “26–27 Kindergarten Registration.”
