On Wednesday, September 24, Chattooga High School’s FCA members held their annual “See You At the Pole”, an event where they met up at the flag pole in Little Big Horn Stadium before school. This meeting took place around 7:20 am, and there was a good turnout of students and teachers. When the students first arrived, there was worship music playing and an opportunity for them to talk with each other. Pastor Phil Minter from Trion Harvest Worship Center came and delivered a great message to our students and staff about the importance of showing Jesus to the people around you. He talked about being the change you want to see and being a light for others. Hannah Hasty, one of the students who attended this event, said, “I thought it was a great way to spread the gospel to people that might not hear it otherwise! That might be the only Jesus some people ever hear. All the teachers there were so kind and helpful, and the pastor spoke a great message.”
