Villeda Concrete

The Chattooga Marching Indian Band traveled to Oneonta, Alabama to compete in the 23rd annual Covered Bridge Marching Festival.

The band earned an Excellent rating, with Drum Major Will Shepard earning a Superior rating and Best in Class Award. Also earning Superior ratings were the auxiliary units, Color Guard and Battery.

The band travels this Saturday to the Chief Ladiga Marching Festival in Piedmont, Alabama for their final weekend of competition.

This year’s seniors have worked hard from their final year of band camp to what will be their last competition of their high school career. If you still haven’t seen the CHS Band, Oct. 11 will be a terrific opportunity to make the short drive to Piedmont High School and see their award-winning show.
