Chattooga County Health Department currently has COVID-19 vaccine available

The Chattooga County Health Department currently has COVID-19 vaccine available. People who are eligible to receive the vaccine under Phase 1A+ of Georgia’s Vaccination Plan may call the health department at 706-857-3471 to schedule an appointment while the current supply lasts, according to health department Nurse Manager Judy Wesson. Among those eligible are adults aged 65 and older and their caregivers, healthcare workers, law enforcement, firefighters, and first responders. “We are having cancellations or no shows,”  states Ms. Wesson, “so give us a call. You might even be able to drop by and be worked in.”
