According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, twelve teenagers were shot at Carolyn Crayton Park in downtown Macon just after midnight Sunday.
The shootings took place during a dispute between groups, with multiple guns used.
An 18-year-old and a 17-year-old were listed in critical condition, while the nine other victims were reported stable.
No arrests were immediately announced.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the sheriff’s office as the investigation continues.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has identified an additional victim in the shooting incident that occurred early Sunday morning in Carolyn Crayton Park. That incident was called into the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 12:06 a.m.
At 12:24 p.m. Sunday afternoon, Macon-Bibb E-911 received a notification that a nineteen-year-old male had arrived at a local medical facility suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
After speaking with investigators, it was determined that the individual was shot during the incident at Carolyn Crayton Park earlier that morning, bringing the total number of victims to 12. He is listed in stable condition.

Aggravated Assault Investigation in Carolyn Crayton Park
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Carolyn Crayton Park. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 12:06, Sunday morning.
Deputies responded to the scene to investigate a report of a shooting at a large gathering. Reportedly when the incident began there was a large group near the skatepark area having a party when a second group of people arrived across the street. Both groups exchanged words, brandished firearms, and then began firing at each other.
While enroute to the park, deputies received reports of several victims arriving for treatment at a local medical facility in their personal vehicles. There were 11 victims in all. Four eighteen-year-old males, five seventeen-year-old males, and two eighteen-year-old females. According to medical staff as of this morning, one of the eighteen-year-old males and one of the seventeen-year-old males are in critical but stable condition, all the other victims are in stable condition.
Due to the large number of vehicles at the hospital as well as the amount of family and friends of victims who arrived, the area was taped off, and the Emergency Room was put on lockdown.
Seven vehicles, four that brought victims to the hospital as well as three that were left at the park were taken to the crime lab for further investigation.Ten witnesses were taken to the Criminal Investigation Division and interviewed.
There have been no arrests currently, but this is an active and ongoing investigation.
