Bass guitarist for Velcro Pygmies missing from fishing trip

A member of a band with a sizable following in the Rome area went missing from a fishing trip on the Tennessee River, along with is brother Wednesday night.

Jacob Sander, 24,  and brother Jeremiah, 29, went missing in Lauderdale County, Alabama while fishing on Wednesday evening.  Jacob is the bass guitarist for The Velcro Pygmies, who had just played the Brewhouse on February 27.

The band announced via Facebook that their show in College Station, Texas set for March 3 has been cancelled, with the search for the two brothers ongoing.
