51st Annual Sum Nelly Festival Returns to Summerville October 4th

 

Summerville, GA – The City of Summerville invites the community and visitors from across the region to celebrate the 51st Annual Sum Nelly Festival on Saturday, October 4, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Dowdy Park in Summerville, Georgia.

This long-standing community tradition promises a full day of fun, food, and fellowship in the heart of Summerville. Festival goers can browse through over 150 vendors offering an incredible variety of goods, including art and crafts, handmade jewelry, baked goods, fudge, jams and jellies, candied apples, fall ornamentals, and more. Families can also enjoy favorite seasonal treats like boiled peanuts, snow cones, and kettle corn.

Food lovers won’t want to miss the wide range of festival fare, featuring everything from roasted corn, fried pies, pork skins, and authentic Mexican food to Philly cheesesteaks, hotdogs, Brunswick stew, and BBQ plates. Whether you’re craving a savory bite or something sweet, there’s something for everyone at Sum Nelly.

“The Sum Nelly Festival is more than just an event—it’s a tradition that brings our community together each year,” said Parks and Recreation Director Adam Wilson. “We’re excited to welcome back our wonderful vendors and invite everyone to enjoy a day filled with shopping, food, and family fun.”

The festival is free to attend and open to all ages. Visitors are encouraged to bring family and friends to enjoy one of Summerville’s most beloved annual events.
