Statement from Brown
“I am running for mayor because I believe our community has incredible potential, but we also face significant challenges that require immediate attention. Over the past few years, I’ve seen firsthand the struggles many families are facing—ranging from local hotels connected to drug problems, to rising property taxes and utilities, and increasing concerns about homelessness in town.
My motivation comes from a desire to create a more inclusive and thriving community for everyone. I want Trion to be a place where all residents can access quality education, affordable and clean housing, and good jobs. As a lifelong resident, I understand the unique challenges our community faces. I am committed to listening to our citizens’ voices to address their needs better.”
