Local businessman, farmer, and lifelong Chattooga County resident Andy Allen has officially declared his candidacy for the Chattooga County Sole Commissioner position in the upcoming May elections.
As a devoted conservative Republican, Andy Allen stands for the values of small government, fiscal responsibility with reduced spending, ensuring essential public services for all county residents, and advocating for restoring property rights to owners.
“The 2024 elections will be the most important in our county’s history, and I am offering to bring a new standard of leadership for a better Chattooga County,” expressed Allen. “I humbly ask for your vote in the upcoming Chattooga County Commissioner race to address issues and bring positive change to our community.”
Allen and his wife Whitney reside on Little Sand Mountain in the Gore area of Chattooga County with their twins Jackson and Karsyn on their family farm, where Allen was raised and has lived for 46 years. The family owns and operates the Jackar Cattle Company. They are members of Little Sand Mountain Baptist Church.
Allen invites Chattooga County residents to visit the campaign’s website, https://www.andyallenforcommissioner.com/, to gain insights into his vision, values, and proposed initiatives for the county’s advancement.
“I look forward to the many conversations with my fellow community members to address the many challenges and opportunities that we face in the future for our county,” Allen said.
